Admissions and Classes

Our preschool program accepts children 19 months through five years of age. The primary criterion of eligibility is the child’s emotional readiness to be separated from his/her parents.

Admission to The Children’s Garden Preschool is open to children
regardless of race, creed, color or national origin.

Sparrows

Our youngest class for 19-24 month old children (must be in this age range by September each year).  There are two Sparrows classes.  Each class  has a maximum teacher child ratio of 2 to 10.  The class meets three days a week on T/W/Th from 9:30am – 1:30pm.

Cardinals

Our twos class.  This class is  generally offered to children who will turn two before September 1.  There are two Cardinals classes.  Each class has a maximum teacher child ratio of 2 to 12.  These classes meets three days a week on T/W/Th from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Robins

Our threes class.  This class is generally offered to children who will turn three before September 1.  There are two Robins classes.  One class has a maximum teacher child ratio of 2 to 14; the other Robins class has a maximum ration of 2 to 12.  One class meets three days a week  on T/W/Th from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm; the other class, four days a week on T/W/Th/F from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

Owls

Our fours class. This Pre-K class is generally offered to children who will turn four before  September 1.  This class has a maximum teacher child ratio of 2 to 15.  This class meets four days a week on T/W/Th/F from 9:25 am – 1:45 pm.

Classroom Placement Policy

TCGP offer the Owls class for four-year-old children who are completely potty trained and are developmentally ready for the older classroom environment.

All placement decisions regarding every child enrolled, are determined by TCGP.
