DESCRIPTION:Join us! \nWe have a job for everyone.  Bring water bottles\, insect repellent\, gloves\, shovels\, rakes\, 5 gallon buckets\, tarps\, pruners\, etc.  We’ll have ice water and all the basic supplies needed for the workday. \nTCG’s Annual SummerCommunity Work Day goes from 9am-12:30pm.  The mostly outdoor workday invites everyone to lend a hand as we spruce up the play yard (sand\, mulch\, weeding\, pruning\, clearing)\, the main entry and garden beds\, outdoor classroom and other simple tasks.  Everyone is welcome! \nBring a picnic lunch and picnic quilt for gathering in the park to finish the day.  The Picnic follows the workday and goes until 1:30pm!

DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, March 29th (rain date is the 30th)\, we will celebrate the passing into spring with our annual Spring Festival. The spring festival celebration will happen in our play yard area\, with each class taking their turn with their families in attendance.  Teachers shall prepare a “springtime garden”  in the play yard\, just before the Spring Festival with spring plants\, flowers\, cuttings and colors.  Elements of earth\, sun\, wind and rain shall be included in our beautiful\, simple celebration through the senses!  After the children’s visit to the “springtime garden”\, we’ll meet you for a picnic lunch “in the saucer” green space\, over in Grant Park. \nSTARLINGS CLASS – 10:30 to 11am spring festival then meeting parents in the park just after 11am.  Picnic begins around 11:30am. \nROBINS & OWLS CLASS – 11:15 to 11:45am spring festival then meeting parents in the park and joining the picnic. \nGood-bye Circle and dismissal – 12:35pm

We start accepting summer registrations on Thursday morning at the parent coffee (but not before – please see below about how to register).\n\n\nTO REGISTER: Turn in your child’s completed 3-page registration form via email OR – at drop-off or pick-up – between March 9th and March 24th.  You will receive a Quickbooks invoice the same day\, with registration fee due within one day (24 hours).  Once we have BOTH your camp registration forms and the registration fee\, your child’s registration will be complete.  If we don’t receive registration fees within one day\, your child will not be registered for camp.\n\n\n\nWHO CAN ATTEND: We are only able to accept currently enrolled and alumni children\, as space is limited.  We anticipate another full roster this summer – so please understand that you will need to register quickly to reserve your spot/s.  Registration is strictly happening on a first come\, first serve basis.  Please see packet details about a young three year old being ready to join in summer camp with us.\n\n\nSummer camp operates for two months\, for 3 to 7 year olds\, in one mixed-age class.  This year\, Ms. Sally and our newly hired assistant teacher\, Ms Emma (whom you will all meet in mid-March)\, are the teaching team and admin staff for the summer program.  They will be assisted by summer camp interns and other TCG staff\, as needed. Same as recent years\, there are just two camp sessions – June and July.  Children registered may come for a minimum of a one month session or both months (no partial or split sessions). TCG graduates/older siblings are welcome up to age 7.
