FRIDDA BECKMANN
STARLINGS and YOUNG ROBINS ASSISTANT TEACHER
Fridda was born in Texas to a Mexican mom and a German dad, with her childhood shaped by a blend of both cultures. Fridda says this cultivated her love for travel and connection with people from other countries/cultures/backgrounds.
At the age of 7, Fridda’s dad took the family to Mexico, due to his work. This is where Fridda spent most of her life and where she feels she was given the huge advantage of growing up bilingual and strongly connected to her Hispanic roots.
Of another strong influence she says, “One of my favorite college professors instilled in me a great interest and love for early childhood development and education. This makes working at The Children’s Garden a dream job for me.”
Moving to Atlanta with her husband and 3 dogs, Pancakes, Porter & Maisie, some time ago, Fridda and her husband now live nearby and just bought a new home within the past two years. In her personal time she enjoys reading, yoga, gardening, jewelry making and is a long time home renovation enthusiast.
Fridda says she’s loved getting to know our school, our children and families, during her first two years with us. As she looks ahead to fall 2022, Fridda’s passion continues for the important work she feels that we do, with the young children in our care.
