Kerri Firth

Kerri joined our team in spring, 2022 with a wealth of teaching experience in her background, including working with children in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. Kerri’s genuine interest in the respect and reverence for childhood, both as a parent and a teacher, draws her to this work at TCG.  She feels that children can be capable, caring, and independent when given the tools and an environment with stimulus that is, as we say, “worthy of imitation.”

Kerri’s gentle, warm, kind and supportive nature paired with her teaching and understanding of young children, bring a depth to her role as Tuesday-Thursday Owls & Robins Assistant Teacher, starting in the 2022-2023 year.  Kerri and her family live in the Grant Park area, with one of her children being a recent TCG graduate and her youngest, joining the Starlings class in the fall.
